At the roastery, we’re always brewing up ways to be more sustainable. Last year, we switched to cane fibre biodegradable labels and started printing in house to reduce waste. This year, we’ve upped the ante with home compostable coffee bags.
Now, we’ve taken it a step further by joining 1% for the Planet. That means we’re donating 1% of all sales to environmental causes. Our first partnership? SolarBuddy, an Aussie charity lighting up the world by tackling energy poverty with solar power. For those without electricity, nights are dark and dangerous, limiting education and health. SolarBuddy helps bring safe, clean solar lights to communities that need them most.
It’s important to us that every step we take is intentional, from our product packaging to our commitment to giving back. As we see it, sustainability isn’t just about what we do in the roastery. It’s about creating a lasting, positive impact on the world. Joining 1% for the Planet is a way to further this mission, ensuring that every cup of Stash Coffee contributes to a better future.
With Earth Month in full swing this April, it’s the perfect reminder that protecting the planet isn’t a one off thing. It’s a year round commitment, and we’re proud to be doing our part.
